Cámara económica de buena calidad.

Esta cámara me resultó muy útil para realizar tareas de mantenimiento de alcantarillado por mi cuenta. Es muy importante saber qué está pasando en lugar de tener que adivinar. Contras: las instrucciones están mal traducidas o son imprecisas, como cabría esperar de casi cualquier cosa que compres en Amazon. Ejemplo: lo que se dice que es una luz verde cuando está cargado es en realidad una luz azul, el interruptor de encendido/apagado está etiquetado como apagado/no, ese tipo de cosas. La pantalla es pequeña pero utilizable (piensa en el tamaño de los primeros teléfonos inteligentes). El puerto de carga está ligeramente desalineado con su orificio en la carcasa, por lo que hay algo de movimiento en el proceso de enchufar (ten cuidado). La bobina de la varilla de empuje mide aproximadamente 3/16" (5 mm), por lo que diría que es utilizable pero delicada. Solo lo he usado a 15' y algunos codos de profundidad. Es difícil imaginarlo yendo 100' alrededor de un montón de codos, pero aún no lo he probado. La batería es interna, así que no estoy seguro de cómo va eso al final de la vida útil. Ventajas: La imagen es clara y, si el agua en la tubería es clara, se puede ver bastante bien debajo del agua (sugiero abrirla primero con una barrena para poder sacar el agua turbia). Pude identificar fácilmente raíces grandes que habían sido cortadas y raíces más pequeñas, como pelos, colgando de la parte superior de la tubería. Es liviana y pequeña, fácil de transportar. Consejos: tenga cuidado. Conozco personalmente a varios fontaneros que han tenido que romper el hormigón y cavar para sacar la cámara atascada. Esté atento a los agujeros en la parte inferior de la tubería en los que la cámara pueda caer y engancharse al tirar de ella. No estoy seguro de cuál es el límite de fuerza con el que puede tirar antes de que la cámara se desprenda de la varilla de empuje, pero estoy seguro de que hay uno y se entristecerá si lo supera.

Las baterías estaban prácticamente agotadas desde el principio.

Aparte del problema de la batería, esta cosa es increíble. Funcionó perfectamente. Pude usar una batería portátil o mantenerla enchufada con el cable de extensión, lo que no fue un gran problema para mí. El cable es lo suficientemente rígido como para poder forzar la cámara por la tubería sin problemas. La calidad de la cámara es excelente. En general, 9,5/10. En algunos lugares, esta cosa puede costar menos que pagarle a los plomeros para que hagan lo mismo. Tenía una vieja línea de alcantarillado que necesitaba ser limpiada. Esta cámara me permitió ver que los escombros eran solo el interior de la tubería que se había oxidado durante los últimos 30 años. Los plomeros se negaron siquiera a intentar limpiarla y me cotizaron $ 14 000 para reemplazarla (lo que definitivamente debe hacerse en algún momento, tal vez no ahora).
